Privacy & account controls

Delete your CapDent account and data.

CapDent provides account deletion inside the Android app. This page also explains what is removed for each clinic role and how to request deletion if you no longer have access to the app.

Delete directly inside CapDent

  1. Open the CapDent Android app and sign in.
  2. Open More → Legal & Account.
  3. Tap Delete Account & Data.
  4. Read the role-specific warning, enter the confirmation text shown by CapDent, and confirm deletion.

The in-app action is designed to permanently delete the applicable CapDent account without requiring a separate support request.

Owner or Head Doctor

Owner and Head Doctor are treated as clinic-authority roles. Choosing Delete Clinic & Account deletes the clinic-authority account and the clinic workspace associated with it.

This can include patients, appointments, visits, treatments, dental charts, prescriptions, X-rays, photos and other clinical files, invoices, payment records, reports, clinic settings, receiving-account configuration and staff access.

This action cannot be undone. Export or retain records the clinic is required to keep before confirming deletion.

Doctor, Receptionist or other staff

Deleting a non-authority staff account removes that user’s CapDent login/profile and clinic access.

The clinic’s patients, appointments, treatments, clinical records, files, invoices, payments, reports and other clinic-owned data remain with the clinic.

If you no longer have the app

You can request account deletion from the email address associated with your CapDent account. Support may request only the minimum information needed to verify that you are authorised to make the request.

Records that may need to be retained

Dental clinics or service operators may be legally required to retain certain medical, billing, security, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution or compliance records. Where retention is legally required, only the information necessary for that obligation should be retained for the applicable period.

Account deletion does not remove information that must be retained under applicable law or a clinic’s independent legal obligations.

Security and privacy

Never send your password, OTP, UPI PIN, payment credentials, authentication tokens or unnecessary patient information with a deletion request.

For privacy or deletion questions, contact karthikraja826@gmail.com. You can also review the CapDent Privacy Policy and CapDent Terms of Service.
